about 25 Bald Eagles out on the ice
. Also about 3 Pelicans. Must be having a meeting about Spring!!

Today at 1:00 P.M. about 20 White-faced Ibis were hunkered down on the east
side of the Reservoir seen from the boat launch parking lot. Also a lot of
Avocets in the shallows and a Whimbrel flew over the model airplane pond .

At 2:30 P.M. May 8 at CCSP t here was a 1st S pring Summer Tanager working the
E lm trees j ust East of the last whale tail picnic table by the West side
beach and boat ramp.

April 6th saw 18 Avocets fighting the white caps at CCSP next to the Pelicans
at the North East corner of the lake. Spring has come!

A beautiful site as 35 to 40 Pine Grosbeaks were eating in the tops of the
Aspen trees just past the Alluvial Fan area in RMNP. A snowstorm made their
colors really brillant. Never seen that many in one time.

mile west from Frankton going to Castle Rock then North on Walker Rd about 1/4
mile
