Hello all, This week we caught 68 birds representing 12 species. Daily captures are dominated by White-crowned Sparrows of both varieties. Spotted Towhees also seem to be present in good numbers as we catch several a day and they make up the majority of our recaptures from previous years. The

Hello All! Our second week in Grand Junction was dominated by the newly arrived White-crowned Sparrow. We've caught 74 in the past six days. Second place in numbers goes to the Bushtit at 19 new birds this week. A late Yellow-breasted Chat and Virginia's Warbler were this week's highlights. We

Hello all! Our first week in Junction was short as we only had a half day on Tuesday and we closed completely for rain on Wednesday. We didn't catch anything as exciting as a Thick-billed Kingbird but we did catch a lovely adult male Nashville Warbler and a Spotted Towhee banded as a hatch year
