We had a slightly delayed and very slow opening this morning - it was
chilly and cloudy and the nets were frosty after yesterday's rain. Things
picked up a bit about 9:30, providing our first morning dominated by
warblers, including our FOS Redstart and Virginia's. Here's the breakdown
of the 20 new birds banded today:

House Wren 2
Virginia's Warbler 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Myrtle 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Audubon's 10
American Redstart 1
Wilson's Warbler 1
Spotted Towhee 1
White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 3

We are open 6 mornings per week, closed on Mondays. Registration is
required to visit on the weekends - there are three 1 hour sessions,
starting at 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30. Go here
<https://denveraudubon.org/events/> to register. There are school groups
every week day, arriving about 9:30. Individuals may drop by early
mornings during the week although there are groups visiting early on some
days.
