Yesterday I was only able to find 2 Black Phoebes,both in juvenal plumage.
They were across the Arkansas River in the area of Sell's Lake.   And this
morning I only found 1 Black Phoebe, also in juvenal plumage along the same
area of the river.

I have been observing small groups of 5-8 Lark Sparrows moving around the
Canon City area including one group that was in the riparian forest.  Not
sure if these are post breeding aggregations just moving around or birds
beginning migration.
