Hadn't seen this posted yet, so I thought I'd pass along this e-mail 
saying the Campo lek in SE Colorado for lesser prairie-chicken is in 
trouble and will remain closed during this year's mating season.

Here's the message:

The Campo viewing area is closed again this year due to low numbers and 
no birds using that lek last spring.  Sorry for the bad news. There will 
be viewing areas open to the public on the Cimarron National Grasslands 
(a bit over an hour to the east out of Elkhart, Kansas) available for 
the public this year, if all goes as planned.  Their phone number is
