I saw my first Cassin's Vireo of the fall this morning, it was at Cottonwood
Picnic Area parking lot, with a few other birds (Yellow, Wilson's, and
Orange-crowned Warblers).  The parking lot is on the south side of the Arkansas
River, below Pueblo Reservoir dam (Pueblo County).  It is the parking lot
closet to the river, the other parking lot nearby, is the Snakeskin Picnic Area.
Up in the Wet Mountains, Custer County at 9,050 feet, I saw a female
Black-chinned Hummingbird on 8/26 and a Dusky Grouse on 8/25.
Good birding,
Brandon PercivalPueblo West, CO
