It is May 1, and the race to raise money for Pinyon Jay conservation has begun! 
Non-competing individuals and teams may begin their effort on any day in May or 
every day in May. It is up to you because there are no rules restricting how 
you choose to watch birds and raise funds. If you plan to compete on May 20, 
and have not yet signed up a team please do so. You will find instructions and

if needed.  

Let’s band together and all participate in this important fundraiser for Pinyon 
Jay conservation in Colorado! I will be participating on May 20 in the green 
category with the “White-bearded Helmetcrests” in Larimer County. CFO hopes to 
raise $50,000 this year and we need all of you on board!
