--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Beto Matheus at Rocky Mountain Arsenal
at the Western end of Wildlife Dr right over the canal on April 5.
--A Great-tailed Grackle was reported by John Breitsch at Barr Lake SP on
April 6.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
--A 1-st cyc Glaucous Gull was reported by Gene Rutherford at Cherry Creek
SP on March 20.  On March 25, Cheryl Teuton reported imm Glaucous Gull and
ad Lesser Black-backed Gull at Cherry Creek SP.  On April 9, Gene
Rutherford reported Glaucous Gull at Cherry Creek SP.
--On March 29, Michael Kiessig reported 1 f Long-tailed Ducks at South
Platte Reservoir.  On March 30, Sue RIffe reported a pair of Long-tailed
Ducks at South Platte Reservoir.  On April 1, David Suddjian reported 2
Long-tailed Ducks at South Platte Reservoir.  On April 3, Gene Rutherford
reported three and Ben Sampson two Long-tailed Ducks at South Platte
Reservoir.  On April 4, Robert Folzenlogen reported 3 Long-tailed Ducks at
South Platte Reservoir.
--On April 12, Doug Kibbe reported breeding plumaged Red-throated Loon at
Cherry Creek SP.

BACA COUNTY:
--On April 4, Michael O'Brien reported Carolina Wren and 2 Canyon Towhee in
Cottonwood Canyon.
--On April 5 in Picture Canyon, Cheryl Teuton and Dan Brooke reported 2
Eastern Phoebe and 2 Canyon Towhee.
--On April 5 at Two Butts SWA below dam, Ben Lagasse reported 3 Eastern
Phoebe.

BENT COUNTY:
--On March 18, Duane Nelson reported Red-bellied Woodpecker, Canyon Towhee,
and Curve-billed Thrasher visiting his yard in Las Animas.  On March 28,
Duane Nelson reported that the Red-bellied Woodpecker continues to visit.

--On April 13, Jane Stulp and Janeal Thompson reported Canyon Towhee in Las
Animas.
--A BROWN PELICAN was found by Jill White Smith at Lake Hasty below the dam
on April 14 and was seen by several other birders.  On April 15, Duane
Nelson and Sue RIffe reported BROWN PELICAN below the dam at John Martin
Reservoir.
Birders wondered if this is the same individual that was at Lake Beckwith.

--On April 14, Tony Leukering reported 1-st cyc ICELAND GULL at John Martin
Reservoir in the dam area.

BOULDER COUNTY:
--On April 4, Mark Miller reported White-winged Dove along Spine Road near
White Rock Ave in Gunbarrel.
--On April 5, Cheri Phillips and David Dowell reported Black Phoebe at 75th
and Boulder Creek.  On April 6, Christian Nunes reported Black Phoebe at
75th and Boulder Creek.  On April 8, David Waltman and Adam Vesely reported
Black Phoebe at 7th and Boulder Creek.  On April 9, Steve Frye and Tom
Behnfield reported Black Phoebe at 75th and Boulder Creek.  On April 10,
Kim Mauritz, Jack, Ryan Bushong, and Bill Kaempfer reported Black Phoebe at
75th and Boulder Creek.  On April 11, Candice Johnson, Norm Lewis, Nick
Moore and Dean Shoup reported Black Phoebe at 75th and Boulder Creek.  On
April 15, Al Clark reported Black Phoebe at 75th and Boulder Creek.
--On April 9, Jack Bushong reported Chihuahuan Raven soaring over Walnut
Open Space in Louisville.
--On April 9, Peer Ruprecht reported a Bewick's Wren on the Singletree
Trail off Coal Creek Driver in Superior.
--On April 11, Holden Maxield reported a Chihuahuan Raven flying over
Louisville.

CHAFFEE COUNTY:
--A pair of American Three-toed Woodpeckers was reported by Jennifer Rothe
and Stephen Rosster on Monacrch Pass on April 7.

DELTA COUNTY:
--10 Barrow's Goldeneyes were reported by Jennifer Rothe and Stephen
Rossiter at Confluence Park in Delta on April 5.
--On April 8, Bill Kaempfer and Ted Floyd reported Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch
at Grand Mesa near Island Lake.

DOUGLAS COUNTY:
--On April 8 Glenn Walbek reported 2 Trumpter Swans flying over Columbine
Open Space.
--On April 9, Joey Kellner reported 2 Eastern Phoebe upstream of Kingfisher
Bridge at Chatfield SP.  On April 11, David Suddjian reported 2 Eastern
Phoebe by the Platte River parking area east of Kingfisher Bridge.  On
April 11, Doug Kibbe reported 2 Eastern Phoebe downstream of Kingfisher
Bridge on east side.  On April 15, Michael Kiessig reported 2 Eastern
Phoebe downstem of Kingfisher Bridge.
--On April 11, Tim Ryan reported Great-tailed Grackel at Bar CCC Park.
--On April 12, Hugh Kingery reported Eastern Phoebe and Great-tailed
Grackle on Walker Road Trail in Franktown.

EAGLE COUNTY:
--100 Barrow's Goldeneyes were reported by Dick Filby at Spring Park
Reservoir in El Jebel on April 6.  On April 9, Dick Filby reported 70+
Barrow's Goldeneyes at Spring Park Reservoir.

EL PASO COUNTY:
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Mark Peterson at Adams Open Space in
Fountain on April 1.  On April 2, Aaron Driscoll reported Eastern Phoebe at
Adams Open Space in Fountain.  On April 10, Bill Maynard reported Eastern
Phoebe at Adams Open Space.
--A Curve-billed Thrasher was reported by Scott Someshoe at Squirrel Creek
Road on April 7.
--A Black Phoebe was reported by David Tonnessen at Sinton Pond, at the
tiny pond not the main one on April 10.
--On April 11, Alan Versaw reported Black-and-white Warbler at Ramah
Reservoir SWA.
--On April 12, Bill Maynard and Richard Bunn reported Sagebrush Sparrow at
Hanover Road.
--On April 15 at Chico Basin Ranch (fee area) near the banding station,
Brandon Percival and Stephany McNew  reported m Hooded Warbler and Gray
Flycatcher.
--On April 15, Mel Goff reported Mountain Plover on Squirrel Creek Road.
--On April 15 on Hanover Road, Mel Goff reported Curve-billed Thrasher east
of Hanover and at the west end of the road a Great-tailed Grackle.

FREMONT COUNTY:
--On April 13, Hugh Kingery reported Bewick's Wren at Brush Hollow
Reservoir.

GUNNISON COUNTY:
--On April 8, Glen Lindeman reported 3 Fox Sparrows at the campground of
Black Canyon of Gunnison NP.
--On April 14, Jeff Skevington reported 2 Dusky Grouse and Slate-colored
Fox Sparrow at Black Canyon of Gunnison NP.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
--On March 29, Michael Kiessig and Chuck Aid reported a pair of Long-tailed
Ducks in intermediate plumage between winter and breeding at
South Platte Reservoir.
--On March 29, Tim Mitzen reported Black Rosy-Finch at North Table Mountain
Park.
--On March 29, at Chatfield SP David Suddjian reported 1-st cyc Thayer's
Gull by North Boat Launch and Great-tailed Grackle near C470 and Wadsworth.
--On April 11, Doug Kibbe reported 1 Eastern Phoebe downstream of
Kingfisher Bridge on west side and David Suddjian reported 2 Eastern Phoebe
on the west side of Kingfisher Bridge.  On April 15, Phil Lyon reported 2
Eastern Phoebe on west side of Kingfisher Bridge.
--On April 14, Gail DeLalla reported Black Phoebe near Lookout Mountain
Nature Center and Preserve.

LA PLATA COUNTY:
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Riley Morris at Huck Finn Pond and
Hatchery area of Durango on April 12 and was seen
by several birders.  On April 13, Ryan Votta reported eatern Phoebe at Huck
Finn Pond and Hatchery area in Durango.
--A Glossy Ibis was found by Susan Allerton and seen by Jason St. Pierre
and Riley Morris at Pastorius Reservoir on April 15.

LARIMER COUNTY:
--On April 9, Jeff Birek reported a Prothonotary Warbler at Lee Martinez
Park in Fort Collins.  The warbler was seen by many
birders on April 9.  On April 10, Seth Gallagher and many other birders
reported Prothonotary Warbler at Lee Martinez Park.  On April 11, Derek
Hill and several other birders reported Prothonotary Warbler at Lee
Martinez Park.  On April 12, Rob Sparks and several other birders reported
Prothonotary Warbler at Lee Martinez Park.  On April 13, Ken Pals and
several other birders reported Prothonotary Warbler continues at Lee
Martinez Park.
--On April 9, Nick Komar reported 2 American Three-toed Woodpeckers on the
Grey Rock "Meadow" trail.

MESA COUNTY:
--2 Black Phoebe were reported by Mike Henwood at Grand Valley Nature
Center by Phoebe Rock on March 17.  On April 2, a Black Phoebe was reported
by Christ Rurik at Grand Valley Nature Center.  On April 5, Mike Henwood
reported 2 Black Phoebe by Phoebe Rock.  On April 6, Mike Henwood and Katey
Buster reported a pair of Black Phoebe nest building on Phoebe Rock and
Dianne Trappett reported 3 Black Phoebe at Grand Valley Audubon Nature
Cener.
--On March 27, a Long-tailed Duck was reported by Nic Korte and Diane
Trappett at Redlands Parkway Ponds.  On March 28, Long-tailed Duck was
reported by Ronda Woodward, Denise and Mark Vollmar, Eileen Cunningham, and
Mike Henwood.  On April 1, a f Long-tailed Duck was reported by Mike
Henwood at Redlands Parkway Ponds.  On April 2, Tom McConnell reported
Long-tailed Duck at Redlands Parkway Ponds.  On April 3, David Price
reported Long-tailed Duck at Redlands Parkway Ponds.  On April 13, Mike
Henwood reported f Long-tailed Duck at Redlands Parkway Ponds. On April 14,
Diane Trappett reported Long-tailed Duck at Redlands Parkway Ponds.  On
April 15, Jeff Rash re[prted Long-tailed Duck at Redlands Parkway Ponds.
--On April 1, Emily Marino and Neva Lee reported a GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW
at Snooks Bottom Open Space down the path up from river near the parking
area.  Snooks Bottom is near Fruita.  On April 9, Mike Henwood reported a
1st year GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW at Snooks Bottom Open Space.  On April 10,
Denise and Mark Vollmar reported GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW at Snooks Bottom
Open Space.  On April 11, David Price reported GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW at
Snooks Bottom Open Space.  On April 12, Diane Trappett reported
GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW at Snooks Bottom Open Space.  On April 15, Robert
Beauchamp reported GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW at Snooks Bottom Open Space.
--On April 8, Bill Kaempfer reported Chukar at Cameo.

MONTROSE COUNTY:
--On April 10, Coen Dexter reported Black-throated Gray Warbler in Nucla.
--On April 11, Coen Dexter reported 2 Black-throated Gray Warbler in Uravan.

OTERO COUNTY:
--On April 12, Stan Oswald reported Little Blue Heron at Holbrook
Reservoir.  On April 13, Stan Oswald, Jane Stulp, and Janeal Thompson
reported Little Blue Heron at Holbrook Reservoir.  On April 14, the Little
Blue Heron and Snowy Plovers were reported by Brandon Percival, Davida
Kalina, and Tony Leukering at Holbrook Reservoir.   On April 15, Gloria
Nikolai reported Snowy Plover at Holbrook Reservoir.

PROWERS COUNTY:
--On April 6 at Two Buttes SWA, Bunkhouse area Ben Lagasse reported
Black-throated Sparrow.
--On April 11 at Thruston Reservoir, Jeff Skevington reported 10
Great-tailed Grackles.
--On April 12 at Willow Creek Park in Lamar, Jane Stulp reported
Broad-winged Hawk.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
--On April 9, Tosh Giles reported Red-throated Loon, 4 Bewick's Wrens, and
2 canyon Towhee at Pueblo Reservoir.
--A Mountain Plover was reported by Brandon Percival near Boone on April 14.

SUMMIT COUNTY:
--6 White-tailed Ptarmigan were reported by Sue Riffe on Loveland Pass on
April 7.
--On April 10 at Silverthorne, Doug Daniels and Jeffrey Poulin reported 50
Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch, 2 Black Rosy-Finch, and 175 Brown-capped
Rosy-Finch at Silverthorne.
--At Angler Mountain Ranch on April 12, Charlied Nims reported 5 Barrow's
Goldeneyes.

WELD COUNTY:
--A Red-bellied Woodpecker was reported by Steve Mlodinow at Crow Valley CG
on April 2.  On April 10, Frederic Hareau reported Red-bellied Woodpecker
at Crow Valley CG.  On April 11, Steve Mlodinow reported Red-belllied
Woodpecker and Black-throated Gray Warbler.
--On April 10, Bill Fink reported McCown's Longspurs sat Murphy's Pasture.
--A Sharp-tailed Grouse was reported by Cheri Phillips on CR 117 just S of
the Nebraska state line.
--On April 11, Steve Mlodinow reported 3 Great-tailed Grackles at Behrens
Reservoir.
--On April 13, Steve Mlodinow reported Lesser Black-backed Gull at Union
Reservoir.
--On April 14, Sue Riffe reported Mt Plover, 6 Chestnut-collared Longspur,
and 10 McCown's Longspur at Pawnee NG.

YUMA COUNTY:
--On April 10 at Bonny Reservoir SWA (South side of lake) Glenn Walbek
reported 3 Red-bellied Woodpeckers.

The DFO Field Trip for Sunday, April 17 will be to Reuter-Hess Reservoir
led by Mary Cay Burger (mcburger3 AT juno.com; 720-940-8394).  This trip is
