Folks,

Below is an update regarding the possible tree removal operation at the Twin 
Lakes birding hotspot. Thanks to Maeve Conran at KGNU, Elena Klaver, Susan 
Winter, and several local birders who did some sleuthing into the issue. Looks 
like some continued discussions will be needed with the agencies in charge, but 
for now the cutting has been delayed until public meetings are held.
