Hi: On earlier Cobird post I’ve noted Lesser Black-backed Gulls (LBGU) being reported.
Since there are very few breeding records for LBGU in North America it would be useful for late summer-early fall Cobird reports to include the age for the gull being reported . A documented juvenile LBGU sighting, for example, would be of great interest as it would suggest breeding may have occurred somewhere in North America, perhaps even close by. A summer record would be fantastic further suggesting breeding might have occurred perhaps even in CO. Now wouldn’t that be exciting news. Hope everyone found this post useful.
