CoBirders, I sent a similar note not long ago, but these two points are not consistently followed lately, so I make another plea to you as moderator during this busy and exciting birding season
1. *If you are reporting bird sightings it should be clearly stated what county the location is in, or sometimes the city suffices*. It is great when this info is in the subject line, but if not at least include it in the body of the email. Do not assume readers know where you are talking about. It is kind to include some info about how to reach a location if it is not a well known spot, and when appropriate tell us where a bird was at the location. This is very helpful for those who go to look after you. 2. *Include a signature line with every post to CoBirds with your full name and your city or county of residence*. This is common courtesy folks. A large portion of posters are disregarding this. Thank you everyone for your posts to CoBirds and your attention to these points.
