I have an entire family group, adults and juveniles, of mountain chickadees that I suspect nested in my spruce tree in Highlands Ranch just off Santa Fe. They’ve been around most of the week, but I’m working from home today and they seem particularly active. I am bit surprised to have mountain chickadees down here at this time of year.
