Yesterday I had a meeting at Colo State Univ at Pueblo so I got in 15
minutes of birding that produced a Plumbeous Vireo from a small piece of
good habitat. After the meeting (and the rain storm) I did a little
birding along the Arkansas River near Runyon Park where I found a probable
Dusky Flycatcher and several Bewick's Wrens in addition to 2 Nashville
Warblers, several Orange-crowned and a number of Yellow-rumps.

Before I left for Pueblo yesterday morning I birded a little near the
McKenzie end of the Canon City Riverwalk where I first found a
White-throated Sparrow then a Northern Waterthrush. Today I didn't get in
much birding because it rained most of the day but did go out this evening
after it finally quit (I got 1.25 inches at my house, that's about 10% of
average annual moisture!). Near the Sell's Lake parking area for the Canon
City Riverwalk I found another Northern Waterthrush, an Eastern Phoebe, a
probable Dusky Flycatcher, a FOY male Blue Grosbeak and 4 Lincoln's
Sparrows. I also saw 3 Wilson's, 6 Orange-crowned and about 15
Yellow-rumped Warblers and 3 Western Tanagers in that area in about an hour
or so birding at 6 pm + .

I got photos of the Northern Waterthrush and very close up photos of the
Plumbeous Vireo and one of the Lincoln's Sparrows that I have uploaded
to myBirds and Nature blog<http://birdsandnature.blogspot.com/>.
In the photo of the Plumbeous Vireo it is eating an insect that is likely
identifiable.
