Always enjoy to find eastern warblers in Pueblo, just saw and heard a
singing male Northern Parula in eastern most part of the Osprey Picnic
area, in Rock Canyon, below Pueblo Reservoir dam in Pueblo County. I think
this is the 3rd one of these that has been seen in Colorado this spring,
since Apr
Singing male *Northern Parula* was seen by five birders this morning, at
the Headquarter Willows mostly, and also in the cottonwoods nearby, at
Chico Basin Ranch (fee required to visit), Pueblo County, on 23 April.
Also, Orange-crowned, Common Yellowthroat, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Hermit
Thrush. Du
Just below the train bridge along the Arkansas River downstream of City
Park. Easiest access is from Reservoir Rd off Carlile Ave.

Around 7am, I saw a Northern Parula in the first group of Yellow-rumped
Warblers I looked at, in the eastern part of the Osprey Picnic Area, in Rock
Canyon, below Pueblo Reservoir (Pueblo County). I thought, this might be a
start to more rarities, though, I didn't find much else, except for an
Brandon's northern parula was still singing this morning in Pueblo City Park.
It was outside the zoo by the little amusement park rides.

This morning there was a singing male Northern Parula in Pueblo City Park, near
the Frisbee golf course creek, there is ditch across the road to the north, it
was singing in tall trees here. It took me a while to see it, though finally
did, and Pearle Sandstrom-Smith and Clif Smith, also were a
Van Truan and I went to Colorado City this afternoon, hoping to re-find a
YELLOW-THROATED VIREO that David Silverman found earlier in the day, below the
dam at Lake Beckwith. We weren't able to find it, though we saw a male
Black-chinned Hummingbird. Then we over to Greenhorn Meadows Park in C
