Co birders : Seems we should have gone to Pueblo reservoir today . No scoters , no murrelets at the three locations . Lapland Longspur and 6 Common Loons at Elevenmile Res , 1 Common Loon at Spinney Mtn Res and 2 adult white swans ( probably ) Tundra at Antero . Swans refused to wake up and walk or swim around so ID very difficult ( visible from south boat launching area ). Antero had approx 7/8 ths open water , others completely free . Waterfowl numbers middling except for an abundance of coots. Spotting scope essential at these locations. John Drummond Monument
