In response to many requests, I'll host an open deck to view pinyon jays
(hopefully) on
Saturday morning Oct 9... 7:30am to noonish.

I've been seeing 3-5 pinyon jays daily for about a month now. The water
and feeders usually
produce plenty of other stuff to look at while you're waiting.

>From Lyons, go 2.3 miles NW towards Estes on Hwy 36 past the Stone Mtn.
Lodge.
as you see the arched bridge over the river, turn RIGHT on CR71N and go
north.
take CR71N north 1.4 miles to the first left.
Take Colard Lane 0.9 miles west - we're at 938 Colard Lane. 303-823-5332,
but cell
phones may not work up here. Painted tree at the bottom of the driveway.
Plenty of parking up the driveway...do NOT park on the road.
