Birders,
A Red-tailed Hawk is picking off birds at my feeders! Normally, a Cooper’s
Hawk that lives in my neighborhood is responsible for bird deaths at my
feeders.

The hawk sits on my house or high in a neighbor’s cottonwood tree and
watches the feeders in both my front and back yards. The Cooper’s will sit
quietly in the tree where the feeders are hanging and wait for its prey.

As a result, I have very few birds.
