ROXBOROUGH STATE PARK RECRUITS VOLUNTEER NATURALISTS Become a Volunteer Naturalist at Roxborough State Park and enjoy the unique beauty of the park as you share it with others. Anyone interested in becoming a Volunteer Naturalist is invited to attend our Prospective Volunteer Open House to be held at Roxborough State Park on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. For more information and to register, please call the park at 303 973-3959. Training will begin in April 2011. Volunteers receive a comprehensive 4-week training course, periodic brush-ups, and a State Parks Annual Pass after 48 service hours within a calendar year. Prospective volunteers must be at least 18 years old and enjoy working with children and the outdoors. We are especially looking for volunteers that are available during the week to work with Pre K-6th grade children. This is your opportunity to become a valued Volunteer Naturalist for Roxborough State Park. The next training will not be until 2013, so don't miss out!!
