Interesting question.
per eBird "Species Maps", Tricolored Blackbird is endemic to states
bordering the Pacific, with no records
east of there.
Sibley guides illustrate the "Bi-colored" Blackbird, which is an intergrade
with the more typical Red-winged Blackbird. They are also found in
California.
How do I find out if Tri-colored Blackbird has ever been found in this
state. Google was of know help.
