My mom & I spent 2 hours at Union Res searching for the loon in question 
(Arctic/Pacific) it was located on the west side, best viewed from the north.  
It was actively feeding when we left.  We got some great looks at the amount of 
white it showed on its side when relaxed, it also had a very steep slope to the 
forehead leading to a relatively small, flat bill. The lighting continues to 
offer additional challanges.
