I took my dogs for a walk through Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in
Centennial (Arapahoe) this morning. There, I quietly pished at some silent,
brushy stuff that last winter housed a Harris's Sparrow. A rather dapper,
adult White-throated Sparrow quickly emerged.

Fall migration has arrived in my backyard ! Today I had a White-throated
Sparrow (tan morph), a White-crowned Sparrow (Mtn.), over 20 Chipping Sparrows,
and one Pink-sided Junco, all seeming to enjoy my rather weedy garden. I feel
vindicated for not weeding.
