A flock of 8 Pine Siskins visited my Ken Caryl yard this morning. They were the first siskins I've had anywhere near my home since July. A look at the species' map in eBird confirms a relatively sparse presence in recent weeks. Check out this eBird graph of siskin abundance for Jefferson County.

Hi all, I have over 300 Cassin's Finches in my yard along with three Evening Grosbeaks and a hand full of Brown-capped and Gray-crowned Rosy finches and a single Black-Rosy-Finch There are also Pine Siskins , House finches, Juncos and House sparrows. I am goig through tons of Bird seed :)
