I just found and photographed an adult male LAZULI BUNTING at The Gardens on
Spring Creek: 2145 Centre Ave., Ft.Collins.
It was roosting in the Junipers in the Children's Garden with a group of House
Sparrows. There is a feeder around the back of the visitor center that I think
all
I haven't seen the Redpoll yet either.

Birders, 3 trumpeter swan north of Highway 66 on 53rd road which is the
road to rabbit mountain. Sitting on the ice on the mostly frozen Pond east
side of the road.

A customer just came into the store, Front Range Birding, and told me of a

Since I need to get up early, I will make this short.
Pueblo Reservoir CBC total is currently at 122 species during today's count.
Two new species were found, 33 WHITE-THROATED SWIFT (1st Colorado CBC record,
staked out birds); and a HOUSE WREN.
Only the 2nd for the Count was a
Kudos to Rachel Hopper for finding the Lazuli Bunting in Fort Collins.
Today was the FC CBC, so we were able to include the LAZB on the count,
bringing the day count to 102 species.
I wonder if this is a first Colorado CBC species.
