A female type Surf Scoter swam with a small flock of Ring-necked Ducks this morning near islands on the west side of Lake Beckwith, Colorado City, SW Pueblo County. Best viewed with a scope on the dam at east side of Lake. Common Loons also have been showing at the Lake--mostly alt. plumaged
