NOTE:
A female type Surf Scoter swam with a small flock of Ring-necked Ducks this
morning near islands on the west side of Lake Beckwith, Colorado City, SW
Pueblo County. Best viewed with a scope on the dam at east side of Lake.
Common Loons also have been showing at the Lake--mostly alt. plumaged

Enjoying a nice late October visit to Colorado and the unseasonably warm
weather, we had a nice surprise as we ate lunch today on the deck of our
vacation home in Estes Park. As we finished lunch we realized Pygmy Nuthatches
