A canyon towhee showed up in my yard this morning! Second time ever, last one
was in 2015.
As best as I can tell in eBird, this is the northernmost observation of the
species.

annual Yampa Valley Crane Festival opens tomorrow, Sunday, July 1, at 8am
MDT. An overview of the crane festival, including info on the good work of

Since several people have asked: North CR 15 crosses Boxelder Creek between CR
78 and CR 82. This is north of Fort Collins and SW of the Rawhide Power Plant.
I only had the one good luck in 50 mins of watching but others found the cuckoo
after I’d left.
