Hi Aaron:
The first thing that I suggest is to check out the CO county birding website --
https://coloradocountybirding.org/ -- which is one of the best bird-finding
sources available.
Secondly, most of your "wants" can be found in a fairly constrained day jaunt
from Denver; all can with a bit
Hi Everyone,
Today 3/22, I went to the Sprat Platte Fishing Area in Thornton (cross
streets McKay and E 100th), the Elaine Valente Open Space (104th east of
McKay), and the City of Thornton ponds in between, all in Adams County. The

I have an Eastern screech owl calling in front of my house, the current

This is the Colorado Rare Bird Alert for Friday, March 22 sponsored by Denver
Field Ornithologists.
Observers have been diligent in reporting sightings and updates on CoBirds.

Hi,
The one place I’ve seen most of these species is Bobcat Ridge Natural Area
which is in Larimer County between Loveland and Fort Collins so it would be a
bit of a drive (1.25 hours-ish depending on traffic).
Estes Park/ Rocky Mountain National Park would also have a lot of these
species,
Here are some ideas:
Bear creek in Evergreen- dipper
North entrance of White Ranch- Lazuli Bunting
Various warblers
Roxborough park- golden eagle, prairie falcon
Black headed grosbeak, blue gray gnatcatchers
I was just adding in some close areas. Pawnee national grasslands are
