County.

Rufous-crowned Sparrows are found in mixed scrub habitat the canyon county of
Southeastern Colorado according to the Breeding Bird Atlas II. I was at Jean K.
Tool SWA IN Morgan County , 9/11/2019, & photographed one there. Apparently,
only 4 other records in Colorado have found them out of

The Hooded Warbler is still here this morning. I saw him shortly after 10 am.
Following the coordinates shared by Greg Goodrich. Same exact area near the
ground near very bottom of gulch. Sun lite and seen well.

A few thing to report on a very slow day again at Clear Spring Ranch banding.
FOS Gray Flycatcher, Adult. - latest I’ve had here by two weeks
A late Yellow Warbler, Adult F, I’ve only had one later, ever, on !0/1
and only the 2nd Ruby-crowned Kinglet (Hatch-year F) of the season.
Unfortunately I was not able to get out my report in time yesterday, but
fortunately bird numbers here in the Grand Valley have picked up!
Yesterday (Tuesday) we banded a grand total of 30 birds, which doubled our
numbers for the season from 30 to 60. There were also two birds captured

The sparrows have arrived in full force at Chico, and with them, our first
consistently busy day of the season. We totaled 63 banded birds and 1
