Yesterday I did some birding in the Colorado City area where I spotted this white and lightly marked (at least on underparts that were visible to me) hawk. I got some photos and thought surely this was a Krider's Red-tailed Hawk. I vetted it on a site where highly skilled birders give productive

The Nelson's Sparrow was seen around 1:30pm by 4 of us at the regular place. LeAnn Joswick got an excellent look along with Vick Zerbi. The look at 1:30pm was deffinately not as good of a look.I'm sorry I missed the name of the lady from Colorado Springs who was present. A real surprise
