I stopped by Big Johnson late this evening and was able to relocate the
LONG-TAILED DUCK which can be very elusive. It was actually relatively close
tonight compared to where it has been hanging out. Typically it is on the
northeast side of the reservoir which usually means you

I just had what appeared to be a (young?) female Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
at Norman D Memorial Park in Golden (Jefferson County).
It was actively feeding around the playground area on either side of the
small creek, generally spending the last hour or so in the same area. It
was not once seen
