When I went to see the Snow Bunting at Chatfield State Park, the bird was
feeding on the alien weed, " Polygonum aviculare". The common name is
'Devil's Shoestrings'. The weedy plant is reddish brown in color with stems
lying flat on the ground. The Bunting when I was there, was feeding on the

Hi all
I got a call from one our scientists (and a birder of 50 years) indicating
his spouse and her friend (both birders) had a Northern Parula in the yard
an hour ago. Trying to get details supposedly photos taken. Also, seeing
if they allow visitors and/or at least a street and boundaries
