Apparently the bird was seen at 12:45 today, by some folks who stayed the
rest of the afternoon, but when I left at 4:30, it hadn't been seen since
then. Perhaps someone will report it later today.
The chokecherry blossoms have died back a great deal, but it was also
terribly windy out there
Photographed a Male Green Heron (apparently rare for Larimer County, says the
FC Audubon Society) 5/22 at Riverbend Ponds in Fort Collins. Beautiful bird!

Between 10 and 11 am in the Matthews-Reservoir Bird Sanctuary, two of us saw a
male and female American Redstart. We also saw a Black and white warbler, many
yellow warblers, a male and female Common yellowthroat, and a few Audubon’s
yellow-rumored warblers.

Hi all,
The Golden-crowned Warbler just made a brief appearance in the north-most
chokecherries on the west side of the road.
An Alder Flycatcher was near the bridge to the south on the west side of the
road. Sang a couple times.

Yes, that part is in Adams.
For anyone who's interested in such things, the county line at First Creek
Denver Open Space runs right along Buckley Road. Technically, anything east
of the road is in Denver County, and anything west is in Adams.
