Hi all On our way back from Nebraska trip (Sunday) saw and heard a Mississippi Kite flying above Pioneer Park and while hiking the trails came across Eastern Bluebird pair building a nest in a stump on trail that traverses the north side of the park. First three posts here for bird photos

The flock (14) of Cattle Egrets is still hanging around the Lake, primarily on the North side in a large grassy area. I first saw this flock a about 4 weeks ago. Also still present is a pair of Black-crowned Night Herons. I have not been able to find a nest, but these birds have also been here
