Birders
Yesterday while doing our raptor routes in Boulder CO, Tammy and I had 2
Mute Swans on the pond just north of Lagerman Res. and west of the entrance
to Lagerman. Does anyone know anything about these birds? We've never seen
them at this location before.

You
COBirders-- While in my back yard this afternoon I saw a sluggish house
finch. Since he allowed me to approach him I could see he clearly was
suffering from conjunctivitis. This is a deadly, communicable disease often
seen among house finches in our state. For readers of this forum not
8 Tundra Swans present on open water at the Valmont Reservoir complex. Best
seen from the overlook with a scope.

No Gyrfalcon sighting from 8:30-10:00am yesterday 8 December. At least 5 other
cars of seekers were spotted, including a cool gyrfalcon license plate. A small
number of Red-tails and Kestrels were in the area, and a flyby Prairie Falcon
was near CR 57 and Taft Hill Road nearby two days
Two currently being seen from Pelican Point going away.
