CFO has launched an exciting new program
 on shorebird
identification just in time for fall migration. It all kicks off tomorrow
evening with a FREE online presentation by Eric Hynes
: *Forget the Feathers -- Using
Structure and Behavior to Identify Shorebirds*. You can register for this
Zoom presentation *HERE*

Then beginning Aug. 28 and running through Sept. 12, CFO is offering 25
field trips to shorebird destinations across the state. Each trip will have
an expert CFO leader and is limited to 10 birders. The cost is $10 each for
CFO members or $25 each for non-members. For more information and to
register, visit the *CFO website

Please note that Colorado requires that individuals and groups visiting
State Parks and State Wildlife Areas purchase the appropriate pass.

[cobirds] owls

Hi All,

Tomorrow morning I will be presenting a workshop that will cover the 11 
species of owls that can be found in Northern Colorado.


Near the end we will be taking the participants to an active Barn Owls 
nest to show them live Barn Owls.
