Hello birders!
Does anyone know if the Northern Cardinal is still hanging around in Fort
Collins? I went to Fox Meadows this morning and walked around for quite a
while, but without success. If anyone has tips for narrowing my search, or
has seen it recently, I would love to know!

Did anyone have any luck spotting the tricolored heron today?
A few of us were at Riverbend Ponds this morning with no luck. I also tried
Running Deer with no luck.
Thanks!

Hello everyone,
I've been seeing a type of gull fly over SE Fort Collins for a few nights
in a row now. They're heading south, and seem to be eating insects or
something higher up (can't get a good look at them). Does anyone know what
they are? I'm guessing they're migrating south somewhere?
Hi Tom!
What time would you suggest for spotting the owls? Early morning/dusk?
Thanks!

Does anyone know why they seem to be migrating so late this year? I just
saw a flock overhead this morning while I was walking my dog.
Milder winter temperatures?

It's that time of year where I feel a call to search for owls! I've been
seeing a pair of GHO often in my neighborhood and feel blessed!
I searched some old hangouts of Eastern Screech Owls in Larimer County
today with no luck. Has anyone else had any luck with ESOs in the area
recently?
