The backyard feeders at my Ken Caryl Valley home had 2 *Cassin's Finches*,
and I heard *Snow Geese* flying over in the snowy clouds.
6 Snow Geese flew over St. Mary Church at South Prince in Littleton, and 6 *Red
Crossbills* (Type 2) were there.

A big increase in *Canada Geese*
On Feb 24 a male MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD was along Massey Draw at Ken Caryl
Valley up from Valley Parkway. The same area also had a juv. NORTHERN
SHRIKE, a handful of PINE SISKINS, and a GOLDEN EAGLE, among other birds. A
NORTHERN PYGMY-OWL was calling from a patch of Douglas-firs up in the steep
