After being off Tuesday and Wednesday due to the storm, we headed out later
in the morning today, not sure whether we'd be able to open or not. The
weather was not too bad (winter coats but our bare hands were not
freezing), a little sun and no wind. A good number of birds moving around
over the late morning to early afternoon. Banded 64 new birds, caught 1
banded in 2019, and recaptured 23 birds we banded earlier this fall (mostly
Wilson's Warblers). The birds we caught seemed to be in pretty good
shape. We didn't catch anything unusual, but had a good variety of
species, including 4 different Empids. Wilson's continue to dominate.
Here's the breakdown of the new birds today:

Downy Woodpecker 1
Willow Flycatcher 1
Hammond's Flycatcher 1
Dusky Flycatcher 3
Cordilleran Flycatcher 1 (FOS)
Cassin's Vireo 1
Warbling Vireo 1
Black-capped Chickadee 1, banded 10/12/19
House Wren 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Gray Catbird 4
Orange-crowned Warbler 5
Wilson's Warbler 31
Song Sparrow 5
Lincoln's Sparrow 1
Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow 2
Mountain White-crowned Sparrow 5
