Birders,
Yesterday DFO had a field trip to Pueblo. The birds of note were:
*Rusty Blackbird* (2) - On the Arkansas River Trail east of Reservoir Dr
(nearest intersection is Reservoir Dr and Carlile Ave) between the Carolina
Wren site and the bridge to the east. They were on the river shore on the
south side of the river.
*Carolina Wren *- Briefly heard at sign on Arkansas River Trail east of
Reservoir Dr. at an information sign on north side of trail.
*Swamp Sparrow* - Heard near small bridge just east of where you start on
way to Carolina Wren site.
*Harris's Sparrow* - found by another group at the parking area near
Reservoir Dr and Carlile.
*Northern Shrike* - Juniper Breaks Campground at Pueblo Lake State Park
*Eastern Bluebirds* (9) - Just east of Pueblo Nature Center (fee area)
*Pacific Loon* - South Marina
