COBirders, CFO has led 15 trips to shorebird hotspots across the state this fall, and the birding has been great. Several trips have reported 20+ shorebird species including some rarities like Red Knot and Buff-breasted Sandpiper plus other exciting finds such as Long-tailed Jaeger, Cassin's Vireo and Peregrine Falcon.
September 11 and 12 is the final weekend and we have seven additional trips fanning out to places like Barr Lake, Walden Reservoir, Prewitt Reservoir and even locations in Montezuma County! If you've been meaning to register for one or more trips, now is the time to reserve your spot. Each trip is limited to just 10 birders and costs just $10 for CFO members, $25 for nonmembers.
