Hi Everyone--

Today 1/10 Marcia Marvin and I visited the Grandview Cemetery in Fort
Collins. In an hour of looking, we heard one White-winged Crossbill in
section 8 (south-central) and saw 5 Red Crossbills in section T (northwest
corner). The Red Crossbills were feeding in a spruce with resinous cones.

We wandered over to the Poudre River Trail off CO-257 in Weld County. A
late afternoon hike brought no Red-shouldered Hawk, but we heard that it had
been seen as late as 4 pm. The bird moves around a lot, so you may have to
walk the Kodak Wildlife Area and check the meadow south of the river.
