Early afternoon today at Home Lake (Monte Vista) an Osprey, in tall tree N of lake, was eviscerating what appeared to have once been an Am. Coot. Later in afternoon, the Osprey was gone but there was a Greater Yellowlegs. At Alamosa at the "Ranch" pond across from golf course, there were 6 Am. White Pelicans. Virginia Simmons
