Saw an early (?) rough-legged hawk, yesterday morning around 10:30 AM. It was an adult female, on WCR 71 perhaps 2-4 miles south of State Hwy 14. I agree with David Dowell that the numbers of meadowlarks and northern harriers have also increased in that region during the last few weeks.
