Pair feeding a noisy nest under Mulberry St. bridge. Seen birds here
in the winter but was not aware of breeding at this location in the
past. Wonderful to watch, bills crammed with aquatic invertebrates.

garage door and she was in my backyard, went thru open side gate I guess.
Hope she makes can avoid all the coyotes.

Hey all!
Heard my first Broad-tailed Hummer in Fort Collins today in the garden
off of Lake St. Has anyone else heard them around yet?
If hearing a Black-capped Chickadee doesn't make you smile, a hummer
sure will.

morning. I had a singing male Northern Parula in tall cottonwoods west
of the bridge that crosses the canal. A few minutes later, I found a
vocal White-eyed Vireo. It sang rather persistently from low perches in

This evening was a very productive birding time for me. While I was
watching a Black Phoebe on my friend's property near Canon City I spotted a
Scaled Quail, a species I enjoy watching but I had not seen at this
