The Bittern was last recorded on Ebird by Aaron Driscoll on Saturday at 4:15 pm. I saw it earlier and returned at 5 to try for a photo. I did a quick lap around the lake Monday at 4:15 and today at 1. I did not see it. It has been on Memorial Lake in El Paso county. Chris Brobin Manitou

At 10:00 AM this morning I viewed a possible Rufous Hummingbird on the Ute Indian trail (1/2 mile west of the Manitou Incline). It moved around a bit so I got a clear view of it's throat which was clearly Rufous or orange. According to ebird Rufous have been sited in Colorado this early but
