fly-over.

I have an unconfirmed report from a non-birder of a singing male Northern
Cardinal at Carpenter Park in Thornton. It is said to be in the NW green
area between the two ponds.
I don’t have time to check it out, and it may be a wild Cardinal chase but

I am just the messenger. My son, Luke Pheneger, has found a McCown’s
Longspur on the northeast side of Lagerman reservoir. It was present at
about 3:45 PM this afternoon. He has pictures which I’m sure he will share
once his phone has power.
