This is shaping up to be the biggest last week of fall banding that I can
remember. Cloud cover kept things cool, allowing us to band a little later
today, and we got a couple of noon-time flocks of mostly Yellow-rumpeds.
Total of 64 new birds today:

Ruby-crowned Kinglet 7
Hermit Thrush 3
Orange-crowned Warbler 6
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Audubon's 26
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Myrtle 3
Song Sparrow 3
White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 2
Dark-eyed Junco, Slate-colored 1
Dark-eyed Junco, Oregon 2
Dark-eyed Junco, Pink-sided 7
American Goldfinch 4

Two more days! We will take the station down at the end of banding on
Sunday.
