I'm sure many have got it to work in Cocoon using Saxon. Using Cocoon

using this mach pattern in cocoon's main sitemap
workflowmanager/images/ must be a physical path under ./cocoon/ dir
./cocoon/workflowmanager/images/ must exist in your disk

map:read src=workflowmanager/images/{1}.gif
mime-type=image/gif/
