I'm tried to use EJB together
with cocoon but unfortunately didn't find any EJB logicsheet.
Maybe I should use plain xsp instead?
Is there any of common usage patterns?

On my machine the endorsed
directory is ..\bin\, so I put Xalan in $CATALINA_HOME/bin.
You should look at environment property java*endorsed*.
