Well, changing my codaadmin passwd worked fine using au cp
au cp
Your Vice name: codaadmin
Your password:
RPC2_Bind() --> RPC2_SUCCESS
What is not working is two users, and setting their passwds...
au -h scm nu
Your Vice name: codaadmin
Your password:
RPC2_Bind() --> RPC2_NOBINDING (F)
au cp

google sucks at finding helpful entries about coda...either that or I suck at

I tried to get through the coda documentation of the backup system, but
somehow I didn't succeed in actually finding a solution for my needs.

Okay...this was the winning piece of advicethe server.conf file had only
the commented out blank IP entry in it so I manually added an uncommented IP
with the private IP of my server. codaserv now is running...
now I am off to learn more about using CODA as an admin and a user...
