Hi All,
Are we supposed to be using a predefined set of data for the preconference
or can we use our own data?
Thanks,

Susan - I'm going to package up a lot of stuff (Solr, sample
datasets, Luke, etc) to help everyone get started, but bringing
If we bring MARCXML and/or MODS, can we assume that there will be people
who can help us process that data into something useable by Solr? That
would be a nice, at any rate.

I have an XSLT doc for transforming MARCXML to SOLR XML that I can

I was asked if I could post my XSLT doc, so here it is!
It is probably somewhat geared toward my collection of data and I had
some custom scripting for determining the format more accurately but
That would be great. I've got a MODS-to-Solr xsl to share as well. Where
would be a good place to post these, along with relevant Solr schemas?

Jonathan,
I think it's safe to assume that there will be lots of people around
to answer questions. I'm in the XSLT / cocoon group, and I know we'll
be doing XSL transformations of MARCXML and/or MODS into SOLR.

Yes, yes you can make such an assumption. However, I want this
Or here:
http://wiki.apache.org/solr/Solr4Lib
I like the Solr wiki for highly Solr specific stuff... though the
code4lib site can handle file attachments whereas the Apache wiki
does not (I don't think). So, maybe upload files to code4lib, but
consider adding a blurb on the Solr4Lib
